"Open our hearts, O Lord, that we may give heed to the words of your Son." (Acts 16:14)
Beloved in Christ a beautiful day to you from us here in this One, Big and Happy Family - The ARCHIVE.
As Christ faithful (Christians) our desire should be that of dwelling in God's House now and always.
As the Psalmist in today's Liturgy of the Word proclaimed:
"My soul is longing and yearning, for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out to the living God." (Psalm 84:2-3)
Dwelling in God's House remains the best thing that can happen to us. For there we have fulness of life; it is where pains and sorrows could not be found. In God's House each and everyone of us become first born son and daughter. We feast to satisfaction.
It is in being open to God's Word that we will dwell in this abode of Divine Mercy and Grace.
As the author of the Acts of Apostles says: "Open our hearts, O Lord, that we may give heed to the words of your Son." (Acts 16:14)
When we give heed to the Word of God, we are banking on God. For the Word becomes the eternal keey that opens the door of impossibilities and illumine the darkest path.
Let our desire always be in entering into this great Palace to behold Him as He really is. There and then we will be marveled over the beauty and serene of this beautiful Home of our God as the Psalmist re-echoes:
"How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts!" (Psalm 84:1)
Finally, may the Lord grant us the grace to journey with Him and at last behold the beatific vision which we have been longing for.
Peace be with you!
Fada PIUSRALPH prays for you.
Let us pray
Most merciful and faithful God, we thank You for Your continuous care and love. We pray may You grant us the grace to live, such that at the end we may see You really as You are. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
