TUESDAY OF THE 15TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR 'B'
Mystery of the day: Sorrowful
Mystery of the day: Sorrowful
"...for the LORD listens to the needy, and does not spurn His own in their chains." (Psalm 69:34)
Beloved in Christ, we are at it again to refresh your soul with God's Word. Today, the psalmist reminded us of God's readiness to redeem those in prison and heal the broken hearted.
"...for the LORD listens to the needy, and does not spurn His own in their chains." (Psalm 69:34)
All that He needs is to call on Him to come to your aid. Though He sees the innermost part of our hearts, and knows our troubles but there is still need to call on Him (cf. Matthew 7:7)
Calling on God does not diminished the omniscience attribute of God as "all-knowing" but an act of becoming responsible. For when we ask or plead we add value to who we are and acknowledge the omnipotency of God as our creator and all-powerful Master.
Dearest friend (s), as we move out this day, let us not forget that God is at work in every situation and that He will be there for us no matter the situation. Trust in Him and be glad for today will be a prosperous one.
Be rest assured of my daily prayers.
God bless you and all that concern you.
Fada PiusRalph prays for you.
Let us pray
Eternal Word, with a heart of gratitude we present before you our daily task. Come to our assistance and grant us the grace to savour the sweetness of your love upon us. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
