THURSDAY OF THE 15TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME OF THE YEAR (B)
Mystery of the day: Luminous
"Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, says the Lord" (Matthew 11:28)
Beloved in Christ Jesus, good morning to you and God's choicest blessing upon you and your household.
On this great day the Lord has made, we have every reason to thank Him for His love and faithfulness.
Every now and then His love upon us is being renewed and always assuring us of His provision.
On this note, Evangelist Matthew reminded us of our Lord's Words:
"Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, says the Lord" (Matthew 11:28)
These assuring Words of our Lord goes beyond what ordinary eyes can see and intellect understands. But it is real, as far as our life is concerned. Look around you, there must be a testimony of God’s faithfulness and love. Then count your blessings and name them one by one, you will certainly come to the fact that "God is good".
Recalling the words of the Psalmist in today's reading: "The Lord remembers His covenant for ever." (
We have assurance that God is always faithful to us no matter the situation that we may go through.
"... the promises he ordained for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac." (Psalm 105:8-9)
No matter how long it may seems, He will certainly keep to His promises. Cheer up for He is a faithful God.
Peace be with you!
Fada PIUSRALPH prays for you.
Let us pray
Eternal Word, we return glory and honour to You for Your faithfulness and love. As we put our trust in You, never put us to shame but grant us the faith to journey with You now and always. Amen.
